After I read the part where it said that Allie was an incredibly nice person and that Holden still feels strong about the the death of Allie, it made me wonder if Allie's death is somehow connected to the behavior of Holden. I don't know why but the question just popped up in my head but i'm hoping that in the next few chapters it will give me an answer.
