Storybook Project - Photojournalism

These pictures represent the things I do when I'm bored at home:

This is my homework I do when I'm bored

I sometimes read a book when I'm free

I walk outside to Kwik Star to get a drink when I don't have anything to do

I play games with my little brother on my xbox 360 when I have some free time

I work on FL Studio on my computer and add songs to my iPod

This is My Life

These pictures show what my interests in life are. My life is not that complicated to the other people I know. I love to play sports, especially football and basketball. I enjoy technology, I sometimes play on my xbox 360 and play games that my little brother buys for us. I have an iPod and a cellphone I take with me wherever I go. My favorite TV shows I watch all the time is called "House". On my computer, I use FL Studio 8 to make music with TaMone for fun. I don't usually eat at McDonalds but when I do I enjoy it very much. Everyday when I come back to my house, I take care of the cats because my mother and my little brother arent usually home.

My Photos

1. The Light bulb in the lamp.
2. I took this picture because I thought that this is a unique angle of the lamp and it lets the viewers focus on the bulb and the circle around the bulb because of the color variations.
3. The Bulb is focused most because it is the brightest material in the picture, the rest is all dark.
4. Brightness and the shape of the subject.
5. Increase Light on outside to show what the subject is.

1. The dried out leaf in the picture
2. I took this picture because I thought that this is a good close up shot. The subject is sharp while the background is blurred out to make the viewers focus more on the main subject.
3. The Leaf is focused most it is the only clear subject in this picture, the rest are blurred.
4. Sharpness of the subject and the background leaves to make it a "fall" season feeling.
5. Lighting on background might be a little strong, could've possibly reduced it.

1. The Shadow of the playground net in the picture
2. I took this picture because I thought that this is a unique shadow. It has an interesting shape that will attract the viewers attention.
3. The Shadow is being focused since it is the only subject in this picture.
4. The Brightness gave the shadow a stronger contrast making it clear that it's a shadow.
5. I could have taken a better angle to show the viewers what the object of the shadow was.
